Welcome to the 3rd Annual Crooked Creek Classic

This will mark the third year of the Crooked Creek Classic and remains to be a favorite among the players and staff. The tournament drew over 4,500 spectators during the week, over 650 nights of lodging were purchased in Laurel County, and over $156,000 was spent with local vendors to produce the tournament. There were 35 sponsors ranging from $250-$100,000. Over 300 volunteers gave of their time to make the event the success it reached. Local charities receiving donations in 2009 were: United Way; Christian Homeless Shelter; American Red Cross; the Randy Blount Foundations; Booster Clubs for local High Schools and Some Gave All Rally

 

About the Duramed Futures Tour

ABOUT THE DURAMED FUTURES TOUR

Now in its 30th year, the Duramed FUTURES Tour remains committed to preparing rising stars in the women’s game for a career on the LPGA Tour. For the past eight years, the Duramed FUTURES Tour has operated in a licensee role with the LPGA. In recent years, the organizations have worked closely to align practices to assist the members of both tours with professional development. One of the biggest examples of the synergy between the two organizations over the years has been the awarding of coveted LPGA Tour cards to the top money leaders on the Duramed FUTURES Tour. At season’s end each year, the top fi ve players on the Tour’s money list earn automatic LPGA Tour exemptions for the following year.
